I really enjoyed the course, not only for its clear guidance but also for the way it encouraged me to experiment, trust my intuition, and discover new ways to express myself with a limited palette. Limiting the palette helped me understand color harmony on a deeper level and made the whole process feel more intentional and expressive. The exercises were clear, inspiring, and surprisingly freeing. I’m truly excited to create new worlds with colors and explore even more possibilities in my future painting process.

Ever since I discovered Nigel on Instagram Ive been mesmerised and intrigued by his style of painting. Every time he posts something I'm stunned by the beauty and simplicity of his work. I thought I understood color theory until I took his course and was completed stunned by how he broke it down to a fun, digestible and a simple process making it enjoyable and addictive with every application. Hi Nigel, I am an experienced painter, gouache is a new medium for me. When I saw you on Eric Rhoad's Art School Live, I was impressed with your way of teaching and decided to take your course. I have enjoyed the studies and found them very well presented. Also really appreciated the many tips you offer. I did get a bit confused with the access to the demo drawings, but that may just be me being less technical. Great course, easy to follow & understand!
